Baby Born Missing 30% of His Skin!
10/21/2009, TRT: NA

This baby boy was born missing 30% of his skin due to "aplasia cutis congenita." It is an extremely rare genetic birth defect in when you are born missing patches of skin throughout your body. The only thing holding fluids, blood, and organs inside of this infant is a thin and translucent membrane.
You can easily see through this membrane and in to his body. Fortunately, doctors were able to correct this early on and he looks like a normal baby now :D!
This clip was downloaded legally off the internet, however it has not been uploaded on to YouTube (to my knowledge). I thought this was very interesting, so I thought I'd share!
