Benefit for Natalie' Will Aid Child
| More
Thursday, October 22, 2009
A"Benefit for Natalie" will be held Oct. 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Headliner in Neptune. The event will be an afternoon of fun for the entire family.
Natalie is the 4-year-old daughter of a 13-year veteran of the Howell Police Department who has suffered from seizures since birth.
At 4 months old, Natalie was diagnosed with infantile spasms, which is a very rare seizure disorder. This requires Natalie to have a wheelchair for mobility, special equipment for feeding, and to be totally dependent on the people around her for all daily functions of life.
The benefit will raise money to help ease the financial strain on the family. There will be food and drink (cash bar), with entertainment and a silent auction.
The Headliner is at 1401 Route 35, Neptune. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. To make a direct donation for Natalie and her family, make checks payable to "Howell Township PBA Local 228 Good and Welfare Fund" and mail to PO Box 94, Howell, NJ 07731.
For additional event information and to purchase tickets, contact Rob Hill at 732- 938-4575, ext. 2183. For business supporters, contact Harvey Cohen at 732-618-8644.
