Studies on the sinusoidal cells are becoming increasingly important in diverse areas ranging from stem cells, liver development and regeneration, and the pathogenesis of liver diseases such as steatohepatitis, fibrosis, and HCC to therapeutic approaches including liver transplantation. The target audience is both established and junior investigators, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows who work in these multidisciplinary fields. The symposium will help to develop constructive international collaborations that will result in true advantages for people with liver rare diseases.
