The short-term goals of the workshop are to (1) identify and prioritize the most promising new agents for multicenter treatment trials for rare eosinophil-mediated disorders and (2) continue to foster collaborative relationships between multidisciplinary clinical and basic science researchers interested in eosinophil-mediated disease. It is anticipated that this will lead to the design of one or more multicenter clinical trials to assess the safety and efficacy of novel agents for the treatment of rare eosinophil-mediated disorders.
